My Choice of VICTIM speaks a LOT about ME!!!!!! (VICTIMOLOGY) ~ by sweetpo

Yo, wazz up!!! A Lovely evening to yall!! It's been a while since I made a thread here in FFT. I've been busy and haven't prepared much for thread topics to post. Actually, I have prepared some, but it's been two weeks hanging in my email. Ok, enough with the talk, let's move on to our VICTIMS!!!!

Now, what do I mean about our victims? Ok, so tonight I'd like to share and tackle some of the infos that I'm very interested about. You see we have been talking about serial killings, suicides, death tortures and a lot of the dark stuffs, but so far we haven't paid much attention to the victims of these brutalities.

What do you think is the significance of victims in a crime?
Well, according to FBI's Behavioral Science Unit, the choices of the victims tell so much about the perpetrator of the crime. By looking at the victim and the evidences found in the crime scene will surely give a clue or hint of who might be the one who did the crime. It doesn't entirely describe the suspect 100%, but it will help local police officers narrow down the hunt. In this case we will define "victimology".
What is VICTIMOLOGY?
Although serial killers may not know most of their victims, but their selection isn't random. Somehow their victim plays an important role as to their motives of the crime. Rather, it is based on the murderer's perception of certain characteristics of his victims that are of symbolic significance to him. An analysis of differences and similarities among victims of a particular serial murderer provides important information concerning "the motive" of apparently a motiveless crime. Now, this study is what we call victimology. Now, take note that victimology usually is applied for serial murders or serial rape cases wherein you have a selection of victims that you can compare to.
Victimology is the study of the relationship between the victim and the perpetrator. To understand this concept, first, we must understand what the terms victim and perpetrator mean. The victim is a person who has been harmed by a perpetrator. The perpetrator, also known as the offender, is an individual who has committed the crime against the victim. Law enforcement agencies use the study of victimology and the theories of victimology to determine why the victim was targeted by the offender.

Example: In the last 3 weeks, there were 3 female bodies found near Route 666 highway's dumpsite. All of them are Caucasian women, ages around 20-30 years old good-looking and all are gym instructors. All three died of string strangulation. When there bodies found all of them are facing the ground. They were also raped and they have multiple bruises in their body, mostly on stomach. Now, victims family claimed that before all three went missing, they have mentioned that they have a dinner date.

Now with this example given let's all play detective. Let's try our skills in criminal profiling then. So please answer the basic questions based on the example presented above.
What is the gender of the suspect? Why?
What is the age range of the suspect? Why?
Where could have the victims met the suspect? Why?
Do they know the suspect? Why?
What do you think is the motive of the suspect?
Thank You very much. Please Hit that comment box. (O,O)......hue, hue, hue, hue

UNSUB's GENDER: (Male, the date and the rape is the clue)
AGE: 20-30 y/o just like the victims. Remember that all the victims are gym instructors, good-looking and all went to a date. Now, the unsub should be attractive and charming and regarding these female ages, this is the stage of development that they are looking for a suitable partner. Appearance is a factor here, so it relates to age as well.
PLACE THEY MET THE SUSPECT: Gym of course. All three are gym instructors, though it was not stated whether they work all three in the same gym. A Common pattern is deemed necessary in narrowing the suspects.
Especially the place.
DO THEY KNOW THE SUSPECT: Yes, indeed. Remember, they are young good-looking and gym instructors. So these women are strong as well, there's no way that he can abduct them easily. These girls will put up a fight and it will cause him trouble. So he lure them through a date, using his charm, looks, and trust since he's always meeting them in the gym. The level of trust to people you have spent a lot of time is also crucial when planning for a crime.
MOTIVE: Now, this is pretty tricky part bcz you have to look at several things in the example above. These women are strong, beautiful and all of them were raped, strangled, and thrown in a dumpsite. Also, look at the position of the victims, it tells a lot about the suspect. Face down symbolizes that he doesn't see them as human, but more of sexual objects only.
The suspect is a sexual s@dist bcz of rape and strangulation. Also, he has no regard about these women despite how good-looking they are because all three were thrown into a dumpsite. So the suspect see them as trash as well. Why do you think the women symbolized as trash to the suspect? Well, the offender might have this deep-rooted hate among women especially good-looking ones. There's a possibility that he hates strong women, look at his choice "gym instructors". These are low risk victims and not easy to attack. So somehow, this gives a clue that the suspect might have a traumatic experience in the past that lead him to hate strong good-looking females. He's a s@dist alright. Raping is power dominance style, he might have felt that he's insufficient and by raping his victims he gain superiority from them, and strangulation is a sexual s@dist MO. He gains pleasure from seeing his victims slow death while struggling. I bet his jerking his pants off while he's doing this.
